workshops

Since the demand for analog photography is growing and I am often asked how I do nude photo shoots, develop and post-process my films, I would like to share my knowledge with you on this way. Workshops are a great way to pass on knowledge in a practical way and to be able to actively answer questions.

Through my three-year training as a photographer, I have acquired during this time a lot of knowledge around the photo technique and photography, which I would like to share with you.

black & white film developing

Note: This workshop will take place in complete darkness at times, as films are light sensitive and they need to be rewound in the dark. If you panic or get scared in the dark, please let me know and I will organize a changing bag (by default I don't use a changing bag as I find them uncomfortable).

You've been shooting analog for a while now, but haven't dared to develop your black and white films yourself yet? I know that it is often tedious to get all the information about the ptocess yourself and then there is the hurdle of trying it out yourself with your own films and possibly doing something wrong. In this workshop I will show you everything, from preparation to drying the film, so that you can proudly develop your own films in the future at home.

The workshop will take place at my home in Dresden. Please plan for 2 days, because on the 1st day we develop together films and these must dry overnight, however, because I have no extra drying cabinet. On the 2nd day you can take your films then to your home.

What can I expect?

The workshop duration is on average between 3 and 4 hours. I'll show you everything we need for film development, how to spin in the films, set up the chemistry, and tips and tricks that affect black and white film.

Note: Film scanning is not included in this workshop.
